Privacy

What we store

Your account (name, email, password hash) and the planning information you choose to enter: profile and test scores, saved schools, applications, checklists, essays and their versions, recommenders, deadlines, decisions, scholarship offers, notes and uploaded documents.

Who can see it

Only you. Private data is isolated per account both in application code and by database row-level security. Documents are kept in private storage and can only be downloaded through short-lived links issued to you after sign-in.

Analytics

PreLaw Advisor does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Your essays, documents, scores and application records are never sent to analytics services.

The AI advisor

If the optional advisor is enabled, your question and the records shown with the answer are sent to the AI provider to generate an explanation. Your scores are included only if you tick “Include my test scores and GPA”. The advisor never receives your essays or documents.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and everything in it from Account settings at any time.
